As of January 2022, World4You is expanding its management team: Gerald Auer, Chief Technology Officer and previously authorized signatory, will take on the role of Technical Managing Director alongside CEO Tim Körner. The second employee in World4You's history after founder Johannes Kührer, Auer brings 23 years of experience to the company and was instrumental in its genesis: "Gerald Auer has significantly shaped World4You for over 23 years. Not only does he excellently embody our values and culture, but he also stands for continuity," says CEO Tim Körner.

Gerald Auer brings his many years of experience as Chief Technology Officer and thus process-oriented solution approaches to the management, at the same time he is responsible for the technical areas of World4You. Tim Körner can thus concentrate more on the strategic further development of World4You: "Strategically, the step is also more than sensible, as we are a growing company with high dynamics. In the last two years alone, we have increased the number of our employees from 40 to 60 and positioned ourselves more broadly in many areas. By splitting the responsibility into a commercial managing director (CEO) and a technical managing director (CTO), we are well prepared for the future," Tim Körner further explains.

With the help of these measures, World4You can continue to serve the Austrian core market in the accustomed quality and grow in it. The increase in the number of employees will provide valuable resources and continuous growth, which will primarily affect the presence in Austria: The aim is to strengthen the brand with local products and services and thus make it even better known in Austria.

The long-term plan does not change as a result, according to the new Managing Director Auer: "More than 20 years ago, we screwed together and assembled IKEA furniture ourselves in our first office. At that time, we had the vision to make web hosting and domains as accessible as possible for the Austrian market. We are still pursuing this vision today. That this would result in one of the largest web hosting companies in Austria, which at the same time enjoys market leadership in .at domains – we didn't think of that at the time. All the more it makes me personally very proud to now be managing director at World4You."
